Job summary

Methode Electronics is seeking a Senior Analyst, Accounts Receivable to own the end-to-end AR lifecycle for OEM and Tier1 accounts. You will manage credit, invoicing accuracy, collections, and dispute resolution, while driving improvements in processes and reporting.

Collaboration with purchasing, quality, logistics, and program management is essential to resolve root causes. This role requires strong Excel, ERP (Epicor CMS), and reporting skills, plus familiarity with automotive supplier

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable/credit/collections experience, including manufacturing customers.
• Direct OEM or Tier1 automotive receivables experience preferred.
• Hands-on ERP experience in AR (Epicor CMS).
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Power Query).
• Working knowledge of US GAAP as it applies to revenue, receivables and reserves.
• Ability to reconcile high-volume transactional data and identify root causes.
• Experience with GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota, Honda supplier portals.

Responsibilities

• Own collections for an assigned portfolio of OEM and Tier1 accounts, including the highest-exposure and most complex customers.
• Monitor aging daily; escalate through AP contact to customer purchasing and leadership.
• Reconcile customer open item statements and supplier portal balances to the ERP subledger and identify variances.
• Oversee cash application and month-end close with consolidated OEM payments and remittance decomposition.
• Resolve unapplied and on-account cash; drive the unapplied balance toward zero at close.
• Act as AR power user within ERP CMS – master governance, credit config, and dispute workflows.
• Manage OEM supplier portals and EDI channels and reconcile ERS settlements against contracts.
• Lead process improvements across order-to-cash; quantify benefits in cycle time/DSO.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and onboarding for new customers.
• Build relationships with plant controllers, quality, logistics, sales, and program management.
• Represent AR in cross-functional launch reviews and customer business reviews.
• Deputize for the AR Manager as needed.
