Job summary

Proven Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Senior AR Specialist in San Diego to own the full accounts receivable lifecycle, from contract review to invoicing, collections, and cash application, while supporting a transition from QuickBooks to Dynamics.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Legal, and Operations, manage high-value customer arrangements, and ensure accurate billing in a fast-paced, visibility-rich environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing contracts, purchase orders, amendments, and customer agreements.
• Strong understanding of AR processes including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage complex customer arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Own the full AR process from contract review to invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Review customer agreements and supporting documentation to ensure invoices are accurate and aligned with contracts.
• Partner with Accounting, Sales, Legal, and Operations to validate billing milestones, pricing, usage, taxes, and service commencement.
• Support month-end close activities including AR reconciliations, billing accruals, and audit requests.
