Animal Repair Shop, LLC is seeking an Augmented Reality (AR) Engineer passionate about building next-generation immersive experiences in the United States. The role focuses on Unity-based AR/VR development, collaborating across UX, Platform Engineering, and content teams to deliver cross-platform experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years delivering Unity-powered projects, strong C# skills, and hands-on AR Foundation experience, with excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Formación

• 3-5+ years of creating and delivering professional game, simulation or similar application projects.
• Advanced knowledge of the Unity Game Engine and Editor.
• Extensive experience creating Unity-based applications for AR and/or VR platforms.
• Experience with Unity AR Foundation.
• Extensive experience debugging and optimizing Unity applications.
• Advanced C# skills with the ability to write performant code.
• Ability to both think high-level and be detail oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience working with a team of developers, artists and technical leads.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Excellent oral and written English language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Development for greenfield gaming platform.
• Work with Unity’s AR Foundation to build cross-platform experiences.
• Work closely with the User Experience Design Team to design and implement new concepts and features.
• Work closely with the Platform Engineering team to design and integrate internal and external APIs.
• Produce code that is clear and concise, and consistent with best-in-class coding standards.
• Deliver in accordance with prescribed deadlines, on time and with high quality.
• Self-manage and work in an environment of high autonomy.
• Solve specific 3D spatial data challenges using 3D geometry mathematics and 3D tools.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with the rest of the engineering team on a day to day basis.
• Document new features for both internal and external reference.
