Job summary

Unity is seeking a Software Engineer to join the XR Integrations team to develop foundational XR support for the Unity Engine. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to help developers run experiences on AR, VR, and other XR platforms.

We value hands-on C/C++/C# development, strong 3D math, and the ability to integrate third-party SDKs. This role offers learning opportunities in a multidisciplinary environment and a dynamic roadmap for XR technologies.

Qualifications

• AR/VR/XR experience is required.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development.
• Proficiency in C# development.
• Strong 3D math skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement new XR technologies and features in the Unity engine; collaborate with XR and external partners to create cohesive, user-friendly developer experiences.
• Integrate third-party SDKs for next-generation hardware and software platforms; work in Agile teams or solo to deliver solutions.
• Ensure quality through issue investigation, code reviews, and QA participation; write automated tests and coordinate with embedded QA.
