Job summary

Unity is seeking a Software Engineer to join the XR Integrations team to develop foundational support for using XR devices with the Unity Engine. This role collaborates with partners and internal teams to enable cohesive experiences for developers.

In a multidisciplinary environment, you will implement new technologies, integrate third‑party SDKs, and ensure quality through code reviews, testing, and Agile planning to ship robust XR capabilities.

Qualifications

• AR/VR/XR experience.
• C/C++ development experience.
• C# development experience.
• 3D Math proficiency.
• Willingness to use AI software code generation to accelerate work while preserving architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new technologies and features into the Unity engine for XR; collaborate with XR group and external partners to deliver cohesive experiences to developers.
• Integrate third party SDKs for next-gen hardware and software platforms using Agile methodologies.
• Work with new and existing hardware platforms to deliver a consistent development experience for users.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews; coordinate with QA for testing and quality of code.
