Job summary

DiversiTech Corporation seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist – Collections to manage customer accounts, deductions, and collections. The role reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager in a finance team based in Duluth, GA.

You will compile AR health metrics, reconcile balances, and drive process improvements for shared services. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in AR/collections, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with JD Edwards, Sage 100, and Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections with a background in B2B collections and cash applications.
• Ability to use professional judgement and reasoning when making business decisions.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify and solve issues.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience in a fast paced, high-volume work environment.
• Proactive self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of customer accounts, reconcile balances, and perform GL adjustments.
• Compile monthly reporting on health of accounts receivable and customer metrics.
• Assist in building a shared services platform to scale AR processes.
• Investigate customer deductions and payments, generate statements, invoices, and credit memos.
• Proactively initiate collection activities to address delinquencies and manage aging.
• Evaluate credit histories and provide recommendations for credit limits.
