Job summary

The TemPositions Group is seeking a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage the full AR lifecycle, drive collections, resolve disputes, and partner with internal teams to improve cash flow while maintaining exceptional client relationships. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AR and commercial collections experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years AR and commercial collections experience.
Experience in construction or related industries preferred.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage 300+ B2B accounts.

Responsibilities

Manage full accounts receivable lifecycle and collections efforts.
Resolve customer disputes and collaborate with Billing, Sales, Ops, and Branch Management.
Prepare aging reports and collection metrics to drive process improvements.
Maintain accurate customer records and collection documentation.
Prioritize high-risk accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
Escalate accounts requiring legal review or management attention.
Reconcile customer accounts and research unapplied cash, short payments, and deductions.
Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce delinquent balances.
