Job summary

ESHYFT is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to serve as the primary owner of collections, cash application, customer account reconciliation, and accounts receivable operations. This role is responsible for improving cash flow, reducing aged receivables, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the Company’s revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial collections, cash application, and credit/AR experience.
• Experience handling payment disputes, deductions, short-payments, unapplied cash, payment issues and chargebacks.
• Strong understanding of AR aging, cash application, collections processes, and working capital management.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reconciliations, aging analysis, DSO reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day collections, cash application, payment investigations, dispute resolution, and customer account reconciliation activities.
• Manage assigned customer portfolios and AR aging to improve cash flow and reduce delinquency.
• Ensure customer cash receipts are accurately applied, researched, reconciled, and resolved timely.
• Conduct proactive collection outreach and secure payment commitments.
• Investigate and resolve delays, short payments, deductions, unapplied cash, misapplied payments, or chargebacks.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes and collection obstacles.
• Maintain aging reports, collection summaries, DSO reporting, and other management reporting.
• Support month-end close and revenue cycle initiatives with AR analyses and reconciliations.
