Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Collections Specialist in New Jersey to own a high-visibility AR portfolio and drive cash flow improvements. You will lead complex collections strategies, resolve disputes, and coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Branch leadership in a fast-paced, industrial services environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel is required, with a track record of reducing delinquency. This role offers exposure across the business and opportunities to influence policy and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of collections experience required.
• Experience managing complex, high-volume portfolios.
• Background in construction, equipment rental, or industrial services preferred.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections across multiple regions and high-volume account portfolios
• Drive daily collection efforts and execute strategies to reduce past-due balances
• Resolve customer disputes and coordinate with internal teams to reach closure
• Reconcile accounts, including unapplied cash, deductions, and discrepancies
• Maintain detailed account documentation and activity tracking in AR systems
• Report on aging, performance metrics, and high-risk accounts
