Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in the United States is seeking a Senior Production Technician to lead the AR coating operations. You will manage large-capacity AR coating machines, perform preventative maintenance, inspect finished lenses, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

In this role you’ll troubleshoot equipment, log processes, train less experienced staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large-capacity AR coating machines and log maintenance.
• Inspect lenses for defects and ensure coating quality meets specs.
• Perform routine machine changes, calibration, and safety compliance checks.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and document processes for continuous improvement.
• Train less experienced staff and support a clean, organized work area.
