Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Sr Production Technician to manage the Lab Ops AR Coating process ensuring quality eyewear. You will operate large-capacity AR coating machines, perform routine maintenance, and conduct final quality inspections of coated lenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to multi-task, orient to detail and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and lift up to 15 pounds above head.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job, including close vision.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-capacity AR coating machines. Perform daily and weekly maintenance of the vacuum coating chambers and equipment involved in the AR coating process.
• Inspect each lens for accuracy and any defects; log scratches or conditions.
• Load lenses into AR coating machine; select correct recipe and chemicals for each coating.
• Perform quality testing on finished product and final inspection for each batch.
• Follow procedures; participate in continuous improvement; maintain clean, organized work area.
