Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Sr Production Technician to manage the Anti-Reflective coating process on large-capacity AR coating machines and ensure quality eyewear that meets customer standards.

You will perform equipment maintenance, log operations, inspect lenses, select recipes, and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs to uphold our stringent quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large-capacity AR coating machines and keep logs of maintenance.
• Inspect lenses for defects and verify coating quality.
• Load lenses, select recipes, and perform routine machine maintenance and parts changes.
• Perform final quality checks and ensure coatings meet specifications; log results.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
