Walman Optical is seeking a Sr Production Technician to operate and maintain large-capacity AR coating machines, perform quality inspections, and log processing data. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and overhead
• Specific vision abilities required by the job, including close vision

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large-capacity AR coating machines and perform routine maintenance
• Inspect lenses for defects and ensure coating quality meets specs
• Load lenses, select recipes, and manage chemicals for AR coatings
• Document processes, test finished products, and ensure cosmetic standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
