Job summary

Gear Up Sports, Inc. is seeking an AR Accountant to reconcile open AR accounts and manage collections communications. The role requires advanced Excel skills, experience with MS Dynamics 365, and strong problem-solving abilities.

You will partner with Sales, Operations and Customer Service to resolve invoice issues, process credits and refunds, and assist with month-end closing in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of AR/accounting experience in a dynamic company.
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field; or an Associate with 5 years.
• Thorough understanding of journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Experience with multiple systems; Dynamics 365 ERP system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR for large, complex accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Research and resolve open balances; follow up on past due invoices.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales to resolve invoice/refund issues.
• Process credit card payments, credits, and refunds.
• Maintain customer master files and assist in system integrations.
• Support in cross-department problem-solving and error resolution.
