Job summary

The Town of Flower Mound is seeking an Aquatic Programs Coordinator to plan, promote, and develop a variety of aquatic programs for all ages. You will supervise swim instructors, lifeguards, and contract instructors while ensuring safe and efficient facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation, Physical Education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant aquatic/recreation experience.
• Current Red Cross lifeguard and water safety certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record compliant with Town policy.
• Experience with aquatic program supervision and swim lesson instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and coordinate aquatic programs, classes, and events.
• Supervise aquatic staff including instructors, lifeguards, and head lifeguards; recruit, schedule, evaluate, and train.
• Coordinate contract instructors and oversee summer swim team per applicable rules.
• Oversee pool operations, water quality testing, and facility readiness.
• Prepare reports on attendance, expenses, and revenues; maintain records in registration system.
