The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City – “The J” is seeking a Senior Manager, Aquatics to lead our diverse aquatics operations, including indoor pools, outdoor facilities, and upcoming slides and lazy river. You will oversee managers, lifeguards, instructors, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and safe programs.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years' experience as Director or Manager of an Aquatics program.
• 3+ years’ business development experience with revenue growth in an Aquatics or similar program.
• Be or become LGIT and WSIT certified; CPR/AED/First Aid current.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard/Instructor certifications.
• Aquatic Facility Operator or CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of municipal aquatics programming.
• Strong management, leadership, problem analysis, decision-making, planning, organizing, and time management.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with technology related to word processing, CRM, finances and employee management.

• Oversee aquatics managers, staffing and team development, ensuring exceptional customer service and safety.
• Establish systems for training, motivation, and inter-staff communication.
• Directs department with up to 140 employees during peak summer.
• Manage annual budgets and financial performance of aquatics operations.
• Forecast revenue and expenses; control payroll and operating costs.
• Collaborate with other departments on strategy, marketing and facility usage.
• Maintain safe, clean, and attractive aquatics areas.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations.
