Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Aptitude Technician to support integrated tech systems on a job site, including installation, testing, and maintenance. You will work with a crew as a working lead, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with cable installations, testing, and multi-system integration, plus the ability to mentor team members and coordinate with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in cable installation, testing or maintenance, preferably in a data center environment

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety culture; mentor others
• Works with tools to complete tasks on project
• Tracks and reports units and labor hours; submit timecards
• Maintains tools and equipment for project needs
• Leads safety and security within crew
• Achieves crew production goals and sizes
• Documents key information; activities, production, crew sizes
• Coordinates delivery of supplies to jobsite
• Ensures established quality levels
• Coordinates other trade work
• Participates in safety activities and site analyses
• Reads plans, drawings, and coordination drawings
• Provides on-the-job guidance to team members
• Coordinates inspections for scope of work
• Leads a small team on complex installations
• Oversees quality of structured cabling
• Troubleshoots advanced systems issues
