Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Aptitude Technician to support integrated technology system activities on a job site, including installation, testing and maintenance. This role will work with tools, perform tasks personally, and supervise a crew as a working lead in alignment with our safety standards.

You will read plans and drawings, coordinate with suppliers, track labor and materials, and help ensure quality across structured cabling projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in cable installation/testing/maintenance, preferably in data centers.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to lead a small crew.
• Ability to read plans, specs, drawings, and coordinate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead crew on complex cable installations on site.
• Perform testing and maintenance of integrated systems.
• Track hours, manage tools, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Ensure safety standards and project timelines are met.
• Review plans and coordinates with other trades.
• Provide on-the-job mentoring and knowledge transfer.
