Job summary

The Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Aging and Adult Services, in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an APS Supervisor to lead a team of APS professionals and support staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field.
• 2 years of professional case management/investigation experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and supervision of staff.
• Approve leave, time cards, disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state statutes and APS policies.
• Respond to case participants, concerns, and escalated issues.
• Prepare reports and communicate policy or program issues to management.
