Job summary

Lear For You in Duncan, SC is seeking an Advanced Quality Analyst II to lead APQP activities, coordinate customer gate reviews, and ensure quality across product launches. The role focuses on integrating customer requirements into the Control Plan and supporting PFMEA efforts, while coaching the production team on quality expectations.

You will collaborate with Industrial Engineering on Poka Yoke strategies, attend customer process reviews, and drive containment actions for non-conformances.

Qualifications

• APQP activities and customer gate reviews experience.
• Strong PFMEA and Control Plan experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quality tools and SPC.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP deliverables and confirm completion of location quality documents for launches up to PPAP.
• Coordinate internal and customer APQP activities and gate reviews.
• Ensure customer requirements are in the product specs and Control Plan.
• Support PFMEA to meet functional requirements and carry controls into the Control Plan.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on Poka Yoke strategies and controls.
• Attend launch meetings and process reviews with customers.
• Monitor Run-at-Rate activities and process run documentation.
• Participate in quality meetings representing the site.
• Maintain site documentation per Lear PM System requirements.
• Provide weekly summaries on Quality Notification status and related metrics.
• Coach manufacturing on APQP, quality requirements, and supplier quality.
• Stop any process delivering non-conforming products when needed.
