Amazon is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist for Sponsored Products and Brands -- Offsite to architect and deploy AI solutions that extend campaigns beyond the Amazon store. You will drive science leadership, coordinate with product managers and engineers, and shape the long-term vision for our Offsite advertising business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building ML models for business applications.
• PhD or MS with 6+ years of applied research.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python or related languages.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and ML.

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• Lead or influence design of scientifically complex software or systems.
• Define long-term science vision and roadmap for Offsite advertising.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to deploy AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and run AB tests with data-driven analyses.
• Identify GenAI opportunities to improve learning and advertiser outcomes.
• Mentor junior scientists and foster high performance.
• Stay updated with advances in modeling techniques.
