Job summary

Moloco is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to drive performance improvements in our Ads product. You will leverage deep analytics of supply, demand, and ML-driven bidding to provide data-driven insights for R&D decisions and customer outcomes.

You will build robust campaign health metrics, evaluate system performance, and collaborate across product, engineering, and data science teams to implement innovative algorithms.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
• Quick understanding of new information and the ability to learn new technical skills across engineering, ML, and data science.
• Track record of building positive relationships with collaborators and stakeholders in a global company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses to influence R&D decisions and strategies.
• Build metrics to measure campaign health and understand cause-effect relationships.
• Evaluate ads system health and diagnose issues using input/output metrics.
• Collaborate with other scientists on health checks for internal and external components.
• Learn from seniors to identify new areas to improve infrastructure and ML components.
• Implement and evaluate new algorithms and features with a cross-functional team.
• Analyze massive, high-dimensional datasets from ad auctions and user interactions to guide decisions.
• Work with product/engineering to translate business needs into scientific solutions.
• Improve reliability and efficiency of online prediction and decision systems.
