Job summary

SentiLink is seeking an Applied ML Manager in the United States to lead a team of ML scientists and own a core area end to end. You will coach, code-review, and contribute hands-on while shaping the ML strategy across fraud detection and identity verification.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Risk, growing the team from 4 to 6 by 2026, and impact product decisions with production-grade ML solutions and AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in ML or statistics on real-world problems.
• 3+ years leading ML or data science teams.
• Experience in fraud/identity/fintech risk domains.
• Production ML deployment and production Python code.
• Strong practical ML and applied statistics knowledge.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of applied ML scientists, 4 today and growing to 6 by 2026.
• Own execution for your area: priorities, delivery, and results.
• Coach and mentor team members, review code, and remain hands-on where it matters.
• Partner with senior leadership, Product, Engineering, and Risk to prioritize work.
• Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and results clearly, and represent domain in product strategy discussions.
• Develop and improve SentiLink’s fraud detection and identity models end-to-end.
• Research emerging fraud patterns and design analyses to inform product decisions.
