Job summary

SCAN Health Plan in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Business Analyst, Applied Intelligence to bridge business needs with analytics delivery. You will translate requirements into data designs, lead UAT with business users, and collaborate across operations, member experience, and commercial teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on data modeling, experience with BI tools, cloud platforms and scalable analytics solutions in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, statistics, analytics or tech.
Experience with BI tools and designing user-friendly interfaces for diverse personas.
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage or managed care data, claims and membership.
Strong data warehousing concepts and cloud platform familiarity.
Ability to translate vague questions into structured analytical problems.

Responsibilities

Interface with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics requirements.
Develop designs, data mappings and technical specs for delivery teams.
Lead UAT and validate against acceptance criteria with business users.
Maintain design documents and user stories to support delivery.
Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and align analytics with data strategy.
