Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a Senior Associate in New York to lead applied AI initiatives in real estate. You will partner with investment, asset management and tech teams to translate AI opportunities into technical plans, develop data-driven workflows, and deploy reliable outputs.

You’ll work hands-on with Python, SQL, APIs and LLMs to build dashboards, data pipelines and enterprise AI tools, while ensuring security, governance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or data-focused roles.
• Undergraduate degree in CS, Engineering, Math, Stats or related field.
• Strong Python, SQL, APIs, data pipelines, databases experience.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval workflows or enterprise AI apps.
• Real estate/financial services experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with real-world data across spreadsheets, documents, databases and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Build AI solutions using real estate data, dashboards, and data pipelines.
• Work hands-on with Python, SQL, APIs, databases, LLMs and AI tools.
• Ensure solutions are secure, governed, well-tested and scalable.
• Communicate progress and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
