Job summary

Blackstone seeks a Data Analyst within the Real Estate and Private Equity technology team to build analytical tools supporting portfolio analysis and deal diligence. You will own end‑to‑end initiatives, bridging strategy and execution, and advance the firm's data platform through scalable Python/SQL solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a data analysis or data science role.
• Experience in a technology team within a financial firm, preference for alternative asset management/real estate.
• Advanced analytical skills including statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.
• Skilled with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document for users, developers, and management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake and refinement of technology and data asks related to deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for tooling, automation, or data flows to reduce manual work.
• Conduct business analysis and stakeholder sessions across teams to drive underwriting and asset/portfolio workflows.
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, and UX designers to deliver solutions.
• Document best practices and processes with global/regional teams.
• Develop and maintain analytical software solutions using Python and SQL.
