Job summary

Take2 AI in New York is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI to own end-to-end applied-AI work, from prototyping to production. You will design agentic workflows, integrate models for real-time inference, and scale AI systems powering the healthcare recruiting platform.

The role demands 6+ years in software engineering with ML/APplied AI, strong Python/JS skills, and experience with distributed backends, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. Hybrid NYC-based position.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with ML/Applied AI in production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Shipped multi-agent AI solutions with real-time inference at scale.
• Designed agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and tooling.
• Shipped production AI apps with real-time inference in live systems.
• Built distributed backend systems with observability in place.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applied AI-powered features and agentic workflows.
• Select, integrate, evaluate, and tune models for quality, latency, cost, and reliability across voice AI pipelines (STT/TTS/VAD).
• Build evaluation, guardrail, and observability systems for safe AI at scale.
• Own backend services and data/inference pipelines in production.
• Collaborate with product and founding engineers to prototype and deliver with ownership over technical direction.
