Job summary

Snorkel AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to research and deploy state-of-the-art Gen AI and ML solutions for customers. You will design custom approaches, build AI tooling, and translate real-world challenges into reusable recipes and workflows.

You will work with customers, leadership, and product teams to ensure successful deployments, standardize approaches, and stay current with AI research. Expect hybrid work with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing experience in AI/ML solutions.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with modern Python tooling and ML deployment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to deploy Gen AI/ML solutions delivering real business value.
• Develop AI systems including RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows.
• Create data and evaluation workflows to ensure reliability and trust.
• Manage relationships with customer leadership for successful projects.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and product teams to map needs to capabilities.
• Help standardize solutions and contribute to internal tooling.
• Educate stakeholders on quantitative capabilities and limitations.
• Provide customer feedback to product teams.
• Lead enablement workshops for customers considering Snorkel AI.
• Annual travel up to 25%.
