Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst to lead systems analysis and programming for large-scale applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or university degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, React JS, REST-APIs.
• Strong fundamentals of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience designing integrated solutions with non-functional requirements like scalability and high availability.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP web services, databases (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL.
• Knowledge of containers and cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha.
• Exposure to high-speed messaging platforms like Kafka and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to define system enhancements and deploy new products.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure alignment with architecture.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
