Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a DevSecOps-focused software engineer to support USCG Aviation Logistics Center ISD portfolio. You will drive software development life cycle activities, from requirements through testing and deployment, in a highly technical, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software, while coordinating with clients and teams to deliver robust system solutions. A Secret Clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or IT Certification.
Six (6) years of experience in software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
Six (6) years of experience in Windows Azure software development.
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Certificate Services, Azure AD integrations, and other cloud-related services.
Six (6) years of program/project level experience for software design.
Six (6) years of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software development environment and methodologies.
Six (6) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Develop, create, modify, test, troubleshoot, and document general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
Design software or customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency; may design databases within an app area.
Participate in all phases of software engineering, including design, analysis, and modeling at a high technical level.
Perform system modeling, database analysis, design, implementation, and testing; write and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure deadlines are met.
Troubleshoot and support software operating systems and applications; document client needs and requirements.
May serve as task or team lead and coordinate design, development, testing, and delivery of software systems.
