Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps and Agile IT professional to support the US Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center, Information Systems Division portfolio.

You will design and implement solutions, participate in Agile development, and help ensure secure, reliable software delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher, 6+ years with databases and PL/SQL, system modeling tools, and modern DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or at minimum IT Certification.
• Six years experience with Ingres, SQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle relational database software.
• Six years experience with Procedural Language/SQL and stored procedures and triggers.
• Six years experience in a System Modeling Tool.
• Six years experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
• Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing new software solution concepts and related enterprise logistics systems using Agile principles for a 5-year horizon.
• Develop software standards for use with software tools/solutions to improve system stability.
• Manage and incorporate industry proven technology for asset logistic support solutions and standardize processes for software support.
• Supports enterprise applications using industry practices to evaluate alternatives meeting requirements and modernization efforts.
• Participate in internal validation documentation including technical specifications, instructions, and regression test plans.
• Participates in debugging software and identify corrections to match specified requirements.

Education

Job description

Provide DevSecOps and Agile IT support services for operational mission support for the systems under the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Information Systems Division (ISD) portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions.
• Participates in developing new software solution concepts and related enterprise logistics systems (utilizing the Agile Software Development principles) to extend current capability for a projected period of 5 years.
• Develop software standards for use with software tools / solutions to improve system stability.
• Manage and incorporate industry proven technology for asset logistic support solutions and identify standard process for support of software whether developed organically or acquired by other means (GOTS, COTS etc.).
• Participates in supporting the enterprise applications through the use of industry accepted practices for the evaluation of alternative solutions to meet customer’s existing requirements and USCG modernization efforts.
• Participate in the internal validation documentation to include, but not limited to, technical specifications, special instructions, and regression test plans.
• Participates in debugging software and identify required corrections to match specified requirements.

Required

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or at minimum IT Certification. Six (6) years' experience is equivalent to three (3) years of education.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience with Ingres relational database software, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle relational database software. Experience in principles, practices, or procedures used in phases of application/system lifecycle development, engineering, programming, and/or analysis.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience with Procedure Language/SQL and stored procedures and triggers.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a System Modeling Tool.
• Six (6) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
