Job summary

J&T is seeking an Applications Engineer 4 to monitor security tool suites, administer security-related databases, and perform in-depth vulnerability analyses. The role requires evaluating commercial products, coordinating with government bodies, and delivering technical analyses for tool selection.

The position involves designing interfaces for data retrieval, implementing access controls, and deploying security solutions across the IT Enterprise Network.

Qualifications

• Must monitor and maintain security tool suites across IT systems.
• Perform database administration to track health of IT/IC GovCloud tools.
• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct gap analyses within the security tool suite.
• Research and evaluate commercial products to mitigate vulnerabilities as directed.
• Prepare technical analyses and recommendations for government evaluation and selection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health/status of security tool suites in IT system management.
• Perform database administration to monitor and repair tool health.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and perform gap analyses in GovCloud security tools.
• Research and evaluate products to address vulnerabilities per Government direction.
• Prepare and present technical analyses for Government evaluation and selection.
• Coordinate with organizations to procure and track HW/SW for implementations.
• Prepare configuration and interface plans for GUI/web front-end integration.
• Define interfaces to retrieve data from scanning tools and enforce access controls.
• Deploy security solutions and train authorized users on new capabilities.
