Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a senior Systems Engineer (Level 4) in Elkridge, MD, with active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph. You will drive high-level architecture for mission-critical defense and intel systems, translating requirements into scalable, secure designs.

You will lead architectural trade-offs, support cloud and platform engineering, and integrate AI/ML workflows and automated pipelines into secure environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph within 5 years.
• Education/Experience: 14+ yrs with HS diploma; or 10+ yrs with a BA; or 8+ yrs with MS/PhD.
• Proven systems engineering capability, baseline management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect, analyze, and integrate complex, large-scale systems across the lifecycle.
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement modernization.
• Collaborate on cloud, platform design, and MLOps/DevOps integrations.
