Job summary

JT4, LLC, an engineering and technical services provider for U.S. defense ranges, seeks a Systems Engineer II to plan, oversee design, development, testing, installation, integration, sustainment and operation of diverse software, electronic, and mechanical systems.

Requirements include a B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or M.S.), two years of related experience, eligibility for TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency in C++, Python and Java; MBSE familiarity with

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (ABET-accredited) and two years of related engineering experience, or an accredited M.S. in engineering.
• Eligible for a government TS/SCI clearance.
• Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Active and current Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs systems engineering for Special Projects including integration, planning, operations and maintenance.
• Develops and modifies systems engineering processes for Special Projects.
• Coordinates with JT4 organizations to ensure consistency of processes across the domain.
• Develops test plans ensuring safety, security and operational acceptance of systems.
• Interfaces with customers from quotation to final design and test activities.
• Supports development of technical proposals and engineering studies.
• Configures and operates SATCOM equipment in range environments.
