Job summary

EOA Technologies seeks an Application Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include developing guidance for cloud workloads compliant with security controls and collaborating across teams to secure cloud configurations.

Role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, strong customer-facing and communication skills, and deep knowledge of cloud/security architectures.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Customer-facing skills to drive discussions with senior personnel on trade-offs and risk mitigation.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms.
• Ability to learn rapidly with evolving cloud, networking, and infra management tech.
• Excellent communication, writing, problem solving, and architectural whiteboarding.
• Strong knowledge of application system and network architectures and security principles including data protection.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed guidance for cloud workloads ensuring compliance with security controls (NIST SP 800-53).
• Collaborate with cloud-focused teams to design, test, and implement secure cloud workload configurations.
• Facilitate creation of procedures for migrations from legacy environments into AWS.
• Evaluate and research cloud services for security configurations to protect data.
• Evaluate and research cloud security technologies and their use.
