Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an Applications Development Group Manager to lead large-scale, global payments software initiatives. This senior role requires exceptional communication across technology and business teams and accountability for delivering scalable solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

You will partner with product, operations and platform teams, allocate work, mentor developers, and ensure compliance with Citi's SDLC and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in payments landscape, delivery and support.
• 8+ years leading globally distributed large teams.
• Strong expertise in Payment Product Processor Implementation.
• Experience in production support management and operational needs.
• Proven track record in innovation, payment strategy and governance.
• PM/communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in application production support management.
• Demonstrated people and technical management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical leadership of large scale global software solutions on payments platform.
• Drive integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and improve processes.
• Analyze complex business and system processes to define high-level solutions.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and plan assignments across budgets and projects.
• Apply advanced knowledge of main system flows to achieve technology goals.
• Allocate work and coach developers, analysts, and new team members.
• Negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties.
• Ensure risk-aware decisions and compliance with laws, policy and security controls.
