Everforth Apex is seeking an Software Applications Developer II to support and maintain city department applications onsite in Anaheim, CA. You will improve apps, develop interfaces, and aid with reporting using Power BI, while migrating critical systems to a .gov domain.

The role requires hands-on coding in C#/.NET, SQL, Linux, Docker/Podman, and CI/CD, with experience in Java and multi-platform environments. Onsite availability and collaboration with vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years coding with SQL databases.
• Three+ years apps development in C#/.NET.
• Two+ years Linux experience and production support.
• Experience with Power BI/Crystal-like reporting tools preferred.
• Docker/Podman and CI/CD experience required.
• Java development and containerization exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade city department applications and interfaces.
• Gather requirements and document specifications for apps/reports.
• Migrate apps from .net domain to .gov domain and ensure WCAG/ADA compliance.
• Provide production support and off-hours production incident handling.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and teams for issue resolution.
