Job summary

County of Los Angeles seeks an Application Developer II to backfill a critical IT role in Norwalk, CA. The incumbent will develop, enhance, test, and maintain .NET web and console applications using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and work with .NET Core for new projects.

Responsibilities include building web services, APIs, and SQL data logic (Oracle/MS SQL), applying OOP principles, and aligning with the IT solutions & support team to support DCFS projects.

Qualifications

• Experience building .NET Web and Console apps with ASP.NET/.Net Core.
• Proficiency in C#, VB.Net, JQuery/JavaScript, CSS/HTML5/AJAX.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2015+ or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain .NET web and console applications.
• Develop new apps and enhance existing ones using .Net Core.
• Develop and maintain web services and APIs for DCFS and other County departments.
