Everforth Apex Systems seeks an experienced Java Back-End Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications including APIs and microservices. You will work onsite in Dearborn, MI four days a week in a cross-functional team environment, driving performance and quality across the full SDLC.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IT with 8+ in development, strong Java/Spring expertise, and experience with load testing, QA automation, and cloud tools like GCP Cloud Run.

• Experience with load and performance scripting, QA automation, and back-end Java/Spring development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements to advocate for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, and frameworks, following agile methodologies.
• Assess application requirements to determine the most suitable technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategy.
• Create high-level software architecture designs outlining the overall structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
• Define and implement software test strategies, guidelines, and processes.
• Continuously improve application performance and optimize development efficiency by implementing new technologies.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications, such as APIs and microservices, using server-side languages.
