Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Consultant (Applications Consultant) in Chicago, IL, to develop, modify, and implement software across client projects per design parameters. You will gather requirements, design scalable enterprise assets, and collaborate with teams to deliver quality, maintainable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1 year of IT experience with Java, GIT, and RESTful Web Services; or 3 years of post-secondary study with 3 years IT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field plus two years of IT experience, or three years post-secondary study with three years IT experience.
• Must have one year IT work experience with Java, GIT, and RESTful Web Services.
• Travel to various U.S. locations required up to 5% annually; telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

• Develop, modify, and implement software to improve performance according to design parameters.
• Gather and analyze client requirements to design and develop systems through the SDLC.
• Design and develop reusable assets, data models, workflows, and integration approaches.
