Job summary

The City of Oceanside, CA is seeking an Applications Analyst III to lead the administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the City's public website, staff SharePoint site, and a portfolio of enterprise applications. The role reports to the IT Division Manager and serves as the primary technical resource for these systems.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with vendors, provide end-user training, and help ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of responsible information systems analysis or applications development experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree with major course work in computer science or a closely related field.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance and ongoing support of the City's public website and staff-facing SharePoint site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and coordinate with vendors on support cases.
• Develop training materials and provide end-user training; ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
