Job summary

Essentia Health in the United States seeks a software systems analyst to apply computer technology to solve complex clinical, financial, and patient data problems. You will evaluate needs, develop models and logic diagrams, customize packages, and implement new programs, while supporting multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field plus 5 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or in a programming-related role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs.
• Develop models, specifications and logic diagrams.
• Customize package programs and develop new applications/programs.
• Implementing/installing new programs/systems.
• Provide support to user departments on a wide variety of systems.
• May serve as project leader for new/modified system projects.
• Provides technical advice and training to other system professionals and users.
