Job summary

McLennan County is seeking an Applications Administrator to act as the primary administrator for assigned applications and assist with complex issues. You will support setup, maintenance, and technical support while expanding adoption of critical business applications.

You will lead configuration, testing, and deployment, work with third-party vendors, and develop reports and training materials to improve workflows and data quality across departments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience or formal training in applications support and administration.
• Subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with users and county officials.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Experience with MS SQL statements & queries.
• Experience with developing MS Power Apps.
• Experience with Tyler Technologies custom reports and forms.

Responsibilities

• Administers applications including user setup and configuration; plan, organize and manage reporting and development support.
• Researches, proposes and implements enhancements to improve reliability, features and performance.
• Evaluates, tests and applies updates/patches on a schedule.
• Ensures stability and integrity of the County’s application systems.
• Collaborates with vendors and partners to implement technical solutions.
• Builds knowledge bases and trains client groups on usage, data quality and reporting.
• Handle system security and user role management within Enterprise Applications.
