Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer (US-O) to implement and support software applications, provide documentation, and lead disaster recovery exercises. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with developers, and ensure robust, scalable solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or 5+ years IT experience.
• Experience with iSeries/AS400 or similar tools.
• Experience supporting Manhattan WMi or similar WMS platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, incident management platforms like ServiceNow, and cloud-native architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Relevant certifications (ITIL, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolves production support issues in a timely manner, including outside business hours.
• Participates in 24/7 on-call support and disaster recovery drills.
• Analyzes and supports moderate to complex application issues.
• Collaborates with vendors and developers to resolve complex problems.
• Performs troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of application software.
• Configures, installs, and patches software per change management policies.
• Upgrades and migrates applications to new versions and infrastructure.
• Creates release notes, support docs, and user documentation.
• Communicates progress and outcomes to users and management.
• Maintains system stability, availability, and performance.
