Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential Financial, is seeking a senior application support engineer to join its technology group. You will liaise with vendors, end users and the tech team to ensure production stability, oversee incident management, and drive automated improvements across Linux/Windows, SDLC, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in financial services technology.
Strong understanding of SDLC and release management.
Experience with incident, change, and problem management.
Automation experience to reduce operational toil.

Responsibilities

Provide application support for front and back office systems and client distribution tools.
Own operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including data import processes.
Triage and escalation support; participate in after-hours rotations.
Lead incident and problem management lifecycle with root-cause analysis.
Ensure stability of production environments within change management.
Implement monitoring/alerting for on-prem and cloud apps (Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch).
Contribute to minor development tasks to fix bugs and improve operations.
Proactively identify improvements through automation and independent thinking.
