Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ, is seeking a Lead, Application Support Engineer for PGIM Technology.

The role is hybrid, centered on supporting front- and back-office investment systems, ensuring platform reliability, monitoring and data workflows across vendors and internal teams. You will own incident management, change control, and automation initiatives, collaborate with development, QA, and external partners, and help drive the global technology transformation within a fast-paced

Responsibilities

Provide application support for front- and back-office systems and client distribution teams.
Own operation, monitoring, and integrity of the production platform.
Provide triage and escalation support, including evenings/weekends.
Drive incident and problem management lifecycle with RCA and reporting.
Oversee stability of production within change management processes.
Implement and maintain monitoring/alerts for on-prem and cloud apps.
Interface with vendors and external support for issue resolution.
Collaborate with development and QA to move code to production.
