Job summary

PGIM Credit in Newark is seeking a senior application support engineer to liaise between vendors, end users and technology teams to ensure production stability of front- and back-office systems. The role requires strong incident management, automation, and collaboration across global teams to drive technology transformation.

The successful candidate will work with production platforms, monitor performance, and participate in on-call rotations to support a fast-paced financial services

Qualifications

10+ years in financial services technology with investment management focus.
Experience with Linux and Windows in production environments.
Proficiency in incident, change, and problem management.
Ability to automate production processes (Python preferred).
Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide application support for front- and back-office systems and client distribution tools.
Own operations, monitoring, and data integrity of the technology platform.
Provide triage and escalation support, including after-hours rotation.
Lead incident lifecycle and root-cause analyses with cross-functional teams.
Ensure stability within change management and production releases.
Implement monitoring/alerting for on-prem and cloud apps.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to move code into production.
