Job summary
The Application Engineering Manager at Great American Insurance Group in Cincinnati leads the end-to-end health, delivery, and continuous improvement of application assets supporting EHS and IT Services. Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in software/application development with at least 4 years in leadership.
- Leads development teams and ensures SDLC, security baselines, and operational standards.
- Mentors staff from diverse backgrounds and drives process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Oversees Application Development team operations and productivity for EHS and IT Services.
- Aligns development initiatives with organizational goals and long-term innovation.
- Designs and deploys software applications for insurance processes.
- Drives performance assessments and optimization of applications and teams.
- Promotes AI-enabled capabilities to boost productivity and value delivery across the portfolio.
