Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to design and deliver integrated cloud-based solutions. You will ensure system resiliency, scalability, and cost-efficient operations across hybrid environments, while mentoring teams and driving modern software engineering practices.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, Azure Logic Apps, SQL, and React to implement scalable architectures and integrate third-party systems, collaborating with remote stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of application development experience.
• Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale systems.
• Experience with third-party integrations.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot proficiency.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and Logic Apps.
• SQL experience with relational databases.
• Front-end experience with React.
• Understanding of event-based architectures and data integration.
• Knowledge of cloud security and basic virtual networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver integrated solutions and implementation best practices.
• Ensure system resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop high-quality technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Monitor performance and optimize resources across hybrid environments.
• Act as a tier-3 resource to diagnose complex issues.
• Develop metrics and corrective actions for systemic improvement.
• Experiment with cloud best practices to bridge gaps.
• Mentor teammates and guide transitions to modern practices.
• Collaborate with internal customers to understand problems and outcomes.
• Evaluate acquisitions for supportability and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate integrations with third-party vendors during rollouts.
