Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Engineer and technical leader to define architecture and drive development across front-end and back-end platforms, delivering scalable, high-performance applications.

You will mentor engineers, shape cloud-native solutions, and collaborate with founders and product teams to align technology with business goals and ensure reliable, secure systems across the stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full stack development with leadership.
• Expertise in React/Angular/Vue.js/Svelte.
• Experience with Node.js/Django/Flask/Rails/FastAPI.
• Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/DynamoDB/Redis.
• Cloud proficiency: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven design.
• CI/CD, DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Mentoring engineers and leading large projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical architecture, best practices, and full stack development strategy
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications across the front-end and back-end
• Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions for large-scale applications
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability across the application stack
• Collaborate with founders, product managers, and engineering teams to align business and technology goals
• Establish and lead code review, testing, and deployment best practices
• Mentor and guide senior engineers and foster a strong engineering culture
